OVERALL STORY
GARY CAMPBELL, age 52, has worked his way up on the force for 3 decades and is now a Detective (Chief Inspector). He got married to childhood sweetheart DIANA WILSON at an early age of 23 and they had their only son, JOEL CAMPBELL, one year later. As JOEL grew older he began to take an interest in GARY'S occupation, seeing him as a hero. DIANA didn't like the idea of her son going into the force since she already worried about GARY and his safe returns. However GARY loved the idea of his son following in his steps and embraced the idea. By the time JOEL was 25 he had become GARY'S new partner. On one new big case involving BISMARCK, JOEL was killed. DIANA blamed GARY and this strained their relationship which caused them to get divorced just under one year later. GARY became depressed, blaming himself for his son's death and the loss of his one love. He took time off work and eventually came to a decision he wanted to quit the force as it only reminded him of his son's fate. However as he's tells his decision to his old friend and boss, JOHN, an event happens that links with BISMARCK pulls him back in for one more case in hope of revenge on his son's killer.

OVERALL STORY
LANA ELLIOT has had a struggle with life so far. At the age of 14 she realised she was attracted to both males and females, however she kept this a secret for a very long time as her father was homophobic and she tried her best to only date boys. When she was 17 her families local business was robbed and her mother was stabbed while pregnant; her mother survived but the baby did not. Since then she wanted justice against anyone who committed a crime and decided she wanted to join the Police. She was accepted at the age of 19. She worked her way up from the bottom and eventually grew a name for herself amongst her co-workers over the years. This is where she met KATIE BECKS one of her fellow officers at 23. They became involved and LANA wanted to introduce KATIE to her family. Her father disapproved straight away and forbid the relationship, LANA argued back but was disowned after refusing to end the relationship. LANA moved in with KATIE and they carried on the relationship. When LANA was 24 KATIE was killed late one night by homophobes. The death of her lover shook LANA and her family refused to support her. She went on a dark downward spiral and turned to drugs as a form of release. Her work force never discovered this. One year after KATIES death LANA went to a church to pay her respects, this is where she met BISMARCK. They connected and he helped her get off the drugs and showed her Gods love could help her. She was reminded of what she believed in; Justice. BISMARCK seduced LANA into believing he could help her achieve her goal of justice by exterminating everyone who committed sins and raise a new generation of children to worship God. He told her his plan of beginning with Edinburgh, Scotland, a land full of sins. Brainwashed and vulnerable LANA agrees to help, asking for a job transfer to Scotland to begin her mission and never realising BISMARCK only planned to betray her as she was a sinner herself.

JOHN BARBER has always had a tough time finding love. During his teenage years he was never considered 'good-looking' or 'wanted' and he was bullied a lot by the other boys. However when he was 16 he saved a little girl (12) from a speeding car, this little girl was DIANA WILSON, who lived next door to him. After he saved her life she always wanted to hang out with him, never leaving him alone. He at first found this annoying but began to grow a liking towards the girl (as friends). She believed he was a hero and she made him want to help others, this is where his interest in joining the police force began. When he turned 19 he decided officially to join. When DIANA finally turned 16, he started seeing her in a different way, however he kept his feelings hidden. When he was 22, GARY CAMPBELL (18) joined the forces, they bonded and became friends. Eventually DIANA met GARY when GARY came home with JOHN one day. DIANA and GARY had a mutual attraction and formed their own friendship. JOHN never noticed their relationship becoming something more. A year later JOHN finally decides to confess his feelings to DIANA but he's still nervous, so he wants to confined in GARY (his now best friend) about how to tell her. JOHN goes to GARY'S house only to find DIANA there, both wearing little and looking sheepish. JOHN realises quickly and congratulates the both, telling them they should have told him sooner; he never tells either how he felt about DIANA. Over the next 30 years JOHN refuses to love or form a relationship out of fear and eventually he becomes quite crude, blunt and sleazy out of anger of never confessing his feelings to DIANA.
